Funny...

Caroline picked a flower from our neighbor, Michelle's house. Michelle told Caroline to give the flower a drink when we got home. We filled up a cup and Caroline put the water in. Then, after about 5 minutes, Caroline said, "Flower, are you done yet?" :)

Jumping

I like my Jumperoo

Although I still cry as soon as Mommy leaves the room. If she's sitting by me, I love to jump, otherwise, not so much!

Charile and I had fun playing with the toys.

Careful what you say...

Whenever Caroline is whining or freaking out about something, Patrick will say, "Caroline, chill, I will get it for you." Well, the other day we were in a public restroom (Most of you know I get a little grossed out with public restrooms) and I told Caroline she needed to wash her hands. She started to walk out and I said, "Caroline, wash your hands!" She looked at me and said, "I Wiiiillll. Just Chiillll!!"

Success

Well, we have made major progress with Mr. Stinker's sleep patterns! He is now sleeping from about 7:30 pm till 6:30-7 am!! YEAH!!! It just took a little longer than it did with Caroline...and we thought SHE was stubborn. Ha ha

Caroline is 3 and Garrett is 8 months!

We had Caroline's 3 year check up yesterday. She had a VERY difficult time with the pediatrician. All he needed to do was listen to her breathing, check her ears, mouth, etc. She didn't even need a shot! But, I think she was traumatized from her experience with the cast. So, she thought the Dr. was going to hurt her... :( She weighed 29 lbs. (30th percentile) and was 35 1/2 inches (11th percentile). So, she's a bit of a pipsqueak right now. :)

Garrett is 8 months old and trying so hard to crawl. He really wants to move like his big sister! He is a stinker, and everytime I leave the room, he really cries hard. If Patrick is home with the kids, and Garrett is doing fine, as soon as I come in the back door and he hears my voice, he starts crying. He's a mama's boy. I hope it will get better once he can move because maybe then he can follow me. He's still not sleeping through the night...again, stinker. Lately, he's been up one to two times a night, but only gets nursed if it's after 3 am. Well, sorry buddy, things are going to change now that you're 8 months old...Starting last night, I am letting him cry it out for the whole night. Grandma's, it's a good thing you don't live with us. I am hoping we'll have a rough few days and then he'll be sleeping through the night. He's just a stubborn little guy!

A few cute pictures...

Caroline's cast

I forgot to mention in my update below that Caroline had her cast removed on Monday. She definitely cried when the guy got the saw out to cut off the cast. But, she recovered quickly. She sat much more still for the x-rays than she did when we went in originally. The bone is healed and she didn't want to walk on it originally. But, by the time we walked out from seeing the doctor, she was walking. We even went swimming today! So, she's getting back to normal. :)

A VERY busy week

Well, we had another fun, but busy week. My parents came for a week and Patrick's parents and Aunt Sue came for a long weekend. It was so nice having all of the help because we had Caroline's 3rd Birthday was on August 2. We had a cookout with probably 30 people (and probably about 15 kids) on Saturday. Caroline had a blast playing with all of her friends. It was a little hectic, but super fun. Then, on Sunday, we had Garrett's baptism. He did very well during the service, even though he was getting sick at the time. Then, on Monday, Patrick and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary. We were able to go out to a very nice dinner by ourselves because my parents were still in town. We also got a new camera for our anniversary, so now we can publish videos. :) I hope you all enjoy them!

Fun at the Children's Museum

We took Grandma and Grandpa to the Children's Museum while they were here. We had so much fun. Grandpa was a little exhausted navigating his way through tons of kids and tons of strollers. He wasn't used to all the commotion!

Caroline had fun dressing up like different animals

Who's that good looking guy?

I'm standing up

Mommy helped me stand up here. But, today, I pulled myself up onto a toy. Watch out Mommy and Daddy!

Mommy and Daddy took me to the Children's Museum the day after I started walking on my cast. It took 2 weeks, but she finally walked and we got to go the museum!
